The Durham Thread

Martyn Moxon has resigned as coach. Although no official reason is given the rumours are he's going back to Yorkshire.

Geoff Cook has been appointed to replace him.

Not heard anything but I hope he'll be ready at the start of the season.

I wonder how long he'll last this time. Dear, dear, he really is the Darren Anderton of the cricket world.

He has the potential to be an England bowler and hopefully he has not lost anything once he's back in the side again.

As I mentioned, he's meant to be fit. He played in a warm-up match against us a couple of days ago

That scorecard's in more detail than the one on the Yorks site. What a dynamic opening pair we have.....

I think a lot of people haven't yet clocked onto how formidable the Durham pace attack is going to be at the start of the season. Onions, Davies, Harmison, and Thorp are (presumably) the starting seamers, and that's a damn fearsome line-up in early season conditions

So Plunkett can't get in the side?

I assume he'd play when gets back, either at the expense of Thorp or Davies

Never used to like Thorp but he had a good season last year. Gibson did a great job as well.
