29 overs down and Harmy hasn't bowled yet. I was beginning to think that it was Ben and not Steve playing!

Interesting to see that Michael Gough is umpiring this game. I remember him coming through and thinking that he and Vaughan would be opening the batting for England together for some time. However, he lost interest, and is now umpiring at only 27!

Yes it was tragic as Mike had talent. I wont say too much as I do know the lad but I will say he is much happier these days.

And still Harmy doesn't bowl! Perhaps he fancies himself as a faster version of James Kirtley!

More than half the day's overs gone and still not turned his arm over. What is he doing?

I'll be there tomorrow so I hope he will have bowled by then.

Maybe he just isn't ready to bowl yet

So why is he playing? If he wanted time in the middle but isn't ready to bowl yet he could go and play for his club. That's what Jimmy A did last year to alleviate the boredom of just working in the gym and the nets. He played a number of games for Burnley as a batsman only.

He's got a wicket now though. The dangerman Samaraweera.

One ball out of 18 in the right place and deadly. That's our Harmy.

To be fair the SL batsmen are giving it some tap. Going at almost 5 an over.

Four overs in that innings for Harmy. Not exactly rushing back into it

I was impressed with the SL A team when I was there yesterday. Some quick bowlers and good batsmen

We got hammered in the end. 9 match wickets for Weledegara who looks lightning fast.
