I received an email from Essex CCC at 00:18 this morning - "Your Essex v Gloucs Match Pack" - containing heaps of information about what's new, where I can eat and what the coach thinks. It's all very exciting. I forget sometimes that I'm actually a Kent member.

Sooooo good it's all started again... despite the fact I spent the day stuck in an office only two miles from the Rose Bowl with a computer so crappy the internet commentary wouldn't work and Cricinfo slowed every other programme down to a snail's pace...
