The fake crowd are now putting up umbrellas to try and persuade the umpires to take this shower off the field.

A new low.

Well played Shan Masood. Took a heck of a long time like Sibley's ton the other week but he's gutsed it out.

I have to say though that England have been shocking since lunch. Let alone the idiotic decision of Root to bowl himself, Broad and Anderson have been mediocre in their new spell. Really think Woakes should come on very soon.

Love Younis Khan's reaction to the century.

Terrific innings by Shan, seemingly out of nowhere from an old journeyman. Well played. Pakistan's running has been incredible, England actually look mesmerized by it. Inzy would have keeled over and died 5 times over in this partnership.

England being seriously outperformed by Pakistan who look like a team that wants to win this Test. Is Root actually awake?

Yes, Shadab has really increased the tempo here and Shan Masood responded too. They were a little lucky a couple of times early on where mix ups could have proved costly though.

Get to 350 and I think they probably win the Test. Te ball has been turning and bouncing for Dom Bess so I expect their two leggies to be a real handful.

Don't worry. The 3rd new ball is due in 68 overs.

Getting ridiculous now, Woakes being used to bowl short stuff. Bess just bowling tripe.

Isn't this when you should use your quick man? If not don't select him.

We are now into what is believed to be a poor Pakistan tail.

They'll probably put on another 300.

Is Foakes in the bubble?

Buttler looks gone to me. So lazy with his standing up to Bess.

That was as straightforward as they come from the spinners, no deviation at all from a faint nick. This has to force a change now.

not really, they should save the superlatives for when he gets a ton without having a couple of lives. All this praise is driving me nuts, nobody mentioned he's on his third innings.

What you could say is he's batted very well today. However, he should've been out twice yesterday.

England's fielding has been pretty ragged, costing them at least 50-60, or even more, one feels. So much will depend on our top order in this next session.

You keep mentioning it, but it's not really true. It's extraordinarily rare to bat "chancelessly" for 300 balls; but all the runs count until you are actually out.

Great innings that. Looked plumb at first but actually hard done by. That was a proper test match innings. Lovely stuff.

Pakistan should win from here because they have two spin bowlers and we don’t even pick our best!

Where are you seeing these images, given that BBC donít have the coverage? Are you talking about score updates on the news? The match highlights show Skyís pics with BBC Commentary.
