Another dismal day in the life of a LCCC fan, looks like no bright end to the season in sight

Well done to the LCCC tail today who showed the batters how to play, shame Klein didn't quite make the 100 .
Hard work ahead through the Winter for Wasim and Nico to make the team more consistent and competitive in all formats of the game in 2019.

Was Horton injured or dropped?

He went back home last week to be with his family. Genuine personal reasons.

Rebuilding has begun with the signing of Will Davis from Derbyshire. Don't know much about him but he was in the England under-19 side a few years back.

Abbas signed for 2019 for Championship and 50 over matches. Davis has 40 wickets from 13 first class appearances, a decent start. Taylor also showed promise in his first, and only , game of the season. What a dreadful season for Cosgrove.

Pleased to see Abbas has re-signed for next summer. Will have to get along and see him bowl at some point. A properly exciting talent.

I mentioned on the Lancashire thread that he played every T20 game this season and had their second-highest strike rate.

Only seen him on TV a couple of times but I would have thought he could be a very good addition. The sort of player Id expect Nico to go for.
