He will definitely be very much missed.

Hope you gave him a good send off.

RIP Kim.
I've been off the board for a while and can't quite believe the news I've come back to. I regret not making any of the recent shindigs bitterly now I discover I've missed any chance of meeting Kim and ribbing him about his memoires. As you say, gbg, every time he revealed things about himself, which he didn't always rush to do, there was another hugely entertaining story and another chance to tell him he had an amazing life story to tell. It sounds trite to say in light of both the situation and the real things he did in his life but he was always a poster well worth reading and as everyone else seems to have said, more importantly, a friend I never even met.

In the midst of this sadness, the story of the stupid jacket in George Dobell's post made me laugh through the tears.

George Dobell has just tweeted that today is the 5th anniversary of Kim's death, so if you'd like to raise a glass at some point this evening....

I will be doing so. It is my cricket club's AGM. Will have a toast on the crab's behalf. 5 years! I remember practically breaking down in the office when I heard.

5 years. Has it really been that long?

His contributions on here are very much missed.
