52.3 overs. Two sessions, needed the last wicket partnership of 7 for the second innings to surpass their first effort.

Maybe they all had a wild night out in Leicester.

Congratulations to Warwickshire and Kent on getting promotion.... Sets up what will hopefully be an interesting final game to see who wins this division.

Durham bowl Middlesex out for 121.

It's probably still enough to win by an innings.

Kent have done their customary first innings swoon to 167 all out - could have been worse but for some last wicket resistance - so advantage Warwickshire.

Warks finishing the day 19 runs behind with all 10 wickets intact. I fear today might have provided a preview of next season.

I'm sure a lot of Kent fans will also worry about that...But remember we beat Warwickshire at TW earlier in the season!

The problem in Div 2 seems to be that the top 4 or 5 Counties have Div 1 bowling attacks, but only Warks have Div 1 batsmen. It has largely been a complete mismatch between bat and ball all season. It's hard to see how Kent can be competitive next season unless they sign a couple of batsmen in the winter.

If that transpires they're going to need someone else who can bat there for a large part of next season.

How could I forget? Two of my best days of this season. However, Kent did enjoy a 37% lead on first innings...in this current contest, Warks are 32% ahead and counting.

Not to mention the fact that they'll most likely no longer have the services of Henry, now his value has risen to well beyond what Kent can afford.

Ouch, I did wonder if you had Henry on a retainer. Think I'm glad Sussex didn't go up, their batsmen are barely worthy of the Minor Counties let alone Div 1.

Glamorgan are 333 ahead of Leicestershire with 6 wickets in hand and 2 days to go. The Sophia Gardens pitch sometimes dies towards the end of the game, but Glamorgan must be in with a decent chance of registering their second CC win of the season ...

Shockingly we got the second most batting points in the division and double what Kent have got! It really has been an awful year for batting. Sussex should make a top class overseas batsman their number one priority next summer.
