No. The bloke goading Clark sounds rather full of himself. (Using the handle "Voice of the Fans".What, all of them?) As far as I can see he's accused Clark of hiding from potential criticism, told him to come and talk to supporters, then when Clark called his bluff he tried to spin it as a threat.

The Lancs fanzine "Not the Spin" has been widely praised. Not seen it myself, but has generally been knocking the management not the players. No idea what was said one to one to certain players.

ETA
I read that he has just been sacked as editor of the fanzine.

No Parkinson at the Roses Bowl. Joining Onions Maharaj and Clark as absent in a must win game.

Parry back from the wilderness. Mahmood playing first full game since April. Guest making debut. Where does that put Lavelle?

Interesting that a Lancashire full squad member's club team mate describes the selection process as disjointed.

Lancashire have played 25 players in the championship this year.

12 of them did not play in the first 6 matches. 6 of them made their seasonal debut in the last 4 games of the remaining 8 games, as selection became more and more disjointed.

In every one of the last 8 championship games someone made the team for the first time this year. Of those 12 seasonal debuts, in the last 8 matches 4 only played the one match.

Parkinson only once played consecutive matches.

Not counting emergency signings Khan and Watt only two contracted players did not play for the first team: Hurt and Kerrigan.

Are all counties as disjointed in their selection?

I see Lancs have released Arron Lilly. I can see why, as they seem to have such a big player pool - but Lilley did play in every Blast game this season, with the second-highest strike rate.

The kind of player Northants might want to look at?

Yes, but he only reached 30 twice. No innings lasted more than 20 balls. He only bowled in 5 matches. He was effectively playing as a top order batsman. Is 240 runs at 19 a good return batting at 3 even in T20? Not that Lancs have identified a replacement. Safest hands in the club as well.

Excluding overseas players Lancs had 10 players out of contract. 5 have now left: Clark, Watt, Lilley, Kerrigan and Brown.
No announcement yet on Croft, Lester, Lamb, Chanderpaul and Guest. Can't see all of them staying.
They have signed Gleeson, Lavelle and Balderson.
How big will the player pool be, excluding Anderson and Buttler?

Just signed by Leicestershire on a two year deal. Joining a fair few ex-team mates.

Lancs can not only boast how many of their own academy / age-group players there are in their own squad but there is currently a complete team under contract at other counties of former Lancashire age-group players:

Horton (Leics)
Dearden (Leics)
Reece (Derby)
Mullaney (Notts)
Cockbain (Glos)
Procter (North)
+Simpson (Middx)
Clark (Surrey)
Lilley (Leics)
C Parkinson (Leics)
Griffiths (Leics)

small wonder they are short of top order batsmen

could add in Critchley at Derbyshire.
