D/l thought otherwise thanks to jos taking broad and Swann to the cleaners. I don't think a Notts fan should blame the weather for not winning something in 2010!

We can blame it on us not winning the Double!! Had the weather not got in the way we would have won our final Championship game at Old Trafford anyway.

Amazing batting by de Villiers and Kohli.

248 needed

Jordan bowling to the headless chickens gets 4 wickets for 11 from 3 overs.

Probably the worst batting I have ever seen by the Gujarat Lions.
Kohl, Gayle and Baby (0.4 for 2 wickets) bowling. Watson gets only 1 over.

No comment on that huge partnership between ABDV and Kohli? Just ridiculous. They were up against a lot of pie-chucking but to despatch it quite so destructively was something else.

There's a comment about it right above the one preceding yours.

Some post editing! I meant just ridiculous in terms of the shot play from both players, particularly AB for much of his innings. Then Kohli stepped up to get what would have still been a useful contribution into a fine ton in his own right.

All I can say is AMAZING batting. In the 18 & 19 overs 60 runs.

I had money on the Lions. It wasn't terribly enjoyable watching for me but was clearly amazing batting.

Jordan has learnt slower balls is the way to go. 2 overs of slower balls 12 runs rather to 2 overs for 24.

Only 15 overs but RCB 211/3
Kohli makes another 100. Now he has got his first in this IPL there is no stopping him.

Kohli averaging 91 in this season's IPL now and a batting index of 244.

Jordan seems to have steadied himself, his e/r now below 10!

He's been a total monster. Gayle hasn't fired but AB and Rahul have both been good too. If RCB had an attack it would make for a frightening side.

They are thinking about having a mini IPL as well

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/s...w/52410688.cms

'But BCCI will first have to fend off competition from the International Cricket Council (ICC), which itself is keen to hold an international T20 tournament in that period'.

Soon we will have 20/20s from Jan through Dec non stop.

I wonder if jos is regretting going to the IPL. Had he started the season really well then he could have got his place back in the side. Funny old world.
