Just noticed this for the first time on the Surrey website:

Yeah, saw this earlier today. I'm certainly interested in attending either the game at Arundel or Hove.

Interesting, hadn't realised Christian had indigenous ancestry. Hope this tour gets a bit of publicity. Will they be official matches?

I wonder whether the Aboriginal players count as being suitably Australian enough for some though...

It'd be great to see a similar line up from NZ, but I suspect given how few Maori have played for NZ, it'd be a pretty uninspiring line-up. Jesse Ryder to lead it.

Trent Boult apparently has a Maori background, Shane Bond too. I remember Heath Davis, quick but highly inconsistent. Adam Parore more obviously in terms of name/appearance.

Boult, McGlashan and Bond I wasn't aware of. Davis and Parore more obvious. Still, my point was more that if you look at the NZ cricketing landscape in any generation, there's only 2 or 3 names that stand out as Maori. Currently, it seems you can add Boult to Ryder, but you're still 9 names short.

Boxing Roo is probably shaking with rage at the thought of this.
