Both batsmen were pressing for every run. Klinger was very close to being run out a couple of times, going for the second run in the previous couple of overs and got lucky. No such luck for Bell, sadly. However, Scorchers won the game and Bell is still their highest scorer after 3 games.

MF, I haven't been watching but Bell and run out being written were just so synonymous I couldn't help myself! I understand he's had a decent time of it out there.

He's had one decent enough knock.

I realise that the temptation is too great for you - and others.

KP being pretty magnanimous about Broad on commentary although he may have used up all his mick taking on junior earlier in the evening.

Crikey, Lynn just hit Tait out of the Gabba. I think that's the biggest hit I've ever seen.

Yes, praised his bowling and I think he said he was a #9 with the bat.

Fantastic catch from Somerville against Adelaide reminded me of Stokes catch in the summer off a free hit except this one counted.

Stunning C&B from Chris Jordan off Billings in the same match, was amusing to see their reactions after as well.

It was a good all-round game for Jordan; two wickets including the c & b mentioned above, two other catches and a few runs.

All the English players looked good although Roy got out to a rather injudicious shot, between them they hit some glorious strokes. A Roy switch hit for 6, Jordan an in out hit over extra cover and a few slog sweeps from Billings especially one the ball before he got out off Jordan that went straight down the ground off a 90mph ball.

There's two games back to back on tomorrow from 7am UK time if anyone doesn't have too bad a head for it!

How good was KP ripping into Mark Waugh live on air about his credentials as a selector? Beautiful. Him and Roy clearly don't give a $@@# and it's so refreshing inbetween all the corporate Buzz-speak.

I think MW will be getting the yips about going in the commentary box!

I'm really enjoying this BBL despite not being a big T20 fan or having a team in Australia.

IR Bell is going to be live on terrestrial tv in a few minutes. They are just showing highlights of a collision with Mitch Johnson in a previous game! Poor old Belly wasn't coming first in that clash!

Batting with Klinger currently. Klinger averages 48 in list A and 38 in T20s but has never played for Australia. Ian Bell played 169 LOIs for England.

I got the impression Klinger might have had a few issues with a few people down under. Bell should have been canned completely after the 2011 World Cup from the ODI side but that is another story. (I know Michelle will go on about his form after recall over a year later but his century count was embarrassing even so)

After a fairly sluggish start Bell has played nicely with a couple of big sixes off Ahmed.

That Sydney keeper looks sharp behind the stumps.

Turning into a damp squib this one. It's a shame that probably the worst match has been on Channel 5.
