Not sure where Slats saw the list, but there's one on the Yorks site.

Wasn't there a major problem with the car parking or traffic congestion before the 2005 semi versus Yorkshire? My memories of getting a lift to the Rose Bowl (as it's very complicated by train) are that you need to get there as early as possible and allow plenty of time to let things die down a bit at the end. It might well have improved though since the last time I was there (over a year ago).

It's 7 for the car park that's in the ground I think.

Can only really echo what GG says above really. Get there early and maybe hang around for a drink or two before leaving.

Having said that, I can't remember too many problems getting out of the ground after the semi-final in 2005 and we pretty much left straight away...

Perhaps I was mistaken - it might have been one of the internationals where I remember reading about some problems.

Lovely ground - shame it's a bit of a nightmare to get to at times, as I would go down there more often! We've always given it around 25 minutes after the end of the game before leaving.

I think they've solved the worst of the traffic problems now anyway - it's just the parking that's an arm and a leg. Might be worth keeping an eye on the website to see if they're going to use the park and ride - or walk and ride, which is even better.

Jimmy Adams has been dropped for tomorrow's Championship game against Durham. Benham returns in his place.

I've said this about three times in a row now, but we REALLY do need to win this game now!

I think it's too late for us in the Championship already

I don't think we'll win it either now but a couple of wins will launch us up the table pretty rapidly.

Amazing win today, great performance from Tremlett and Warne. Shame that Bruce was a bit expensive, he'll bounce back though I'm sure.

In other news, we've signed that Voges bloke who was in the Aussie squad for one of the Ashes tests. Don't see the point to be honest as I'd prefer to see the younger guys get a go in Twenty20 but oh well...

Well, semi final tomorrow. Pietersen comes back in for Benham who's struggled in the one day stuff this year.

Means that we line up something like this: Carberry, Crawley, Lumb, Pietersen, Ervine, Pothas, Mascarenhas, Warne, Udal, Tremlett, Clark. Looks a decent enough side on paper but of course being Hampshire that means **** all...

Not going down tomorrow as I've got two General Studies exams in the morning! Would have been able to go if it was a week later, pretty stupid having midweek semis really...

Well, we got through in the end.

Mascarenhas has been named as captain for the Twenty20 games. Warne isn't playing them and with Udal 38 and not really a regular anymore it makes sense to give someone else a go with the captaincy. Pothas would probably have been the only other option I would have thought.

Usually for the Twenty20 we give a few of the younger guys a game. I imagine our Twenty20 side might look something like this:

Stokes
Carberry
Voges
Benham
Ervine
Lamb
Mascarenhas
Pothas
Tremlett
Bruce
Taylor/Tomlinson

Every year I seem to think we might actually be a reasonable side in Twenty20, we'll probably prove to be as inept at it as usual.

Because it will last three times as long.

A number of reasons Durham kept ticket prices low - the main ones being that it was a thank you for all the loyal support they'd received since becoming a FC county and also we still had the temporary seating from the test match so up to 16000 could attend.
