I get the feeling Rob Key loves every minute of it, and the fact its probably one of the cushiest out of season gigs going. Can't imagine the pay is too shabby.

I can just imagine Key down the pub with fellow team mates like Geraint Jones telling them they need to get a piece of the action.

Think he is a good pundit though, speaks well and doesn't beat around the bush.

Not sure which was worse today: England losing or enduring several hours of Nick Knight and Nasser Hussain on commentary together.

Whatever else you might say about Mark Nicholas, I am somewhat in awe of his amazing pale suit, glimpsed earlier this evening at the end of the ODI highlights.

It's certainly worth sharing. The wig is impressive as well.

That is one amazingly naff Irish. Most TV presenters simply would not dare wear anything quite so ridiculous.

Anyway, I think he'll still be around for the home tests. BBC probably didn't want to push their luck after Frindall was bowled a googly overseas a few years ago.

Blowerz (as I will now call him to bring him into the 21st century) was on a couple of times with Colin Murray and said he didn't go abroad anymore but definitely would be back in the summer. Hopefully Vaughan will become a pro-golfer and sod off.

After a diet of almost constant Vaughan and his sycophants in the TMS box this winter I am sorry I ever complained about CMJ and Blowers not knowing the score or being unable to identify the batsmen, bowlers and fielders. With the ECB app on my phone to supply the information and the dulcet tones of these veterans on the car radio this summer I will never complain again.

Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got till it's gone?

I like CMJ and am ok with Blowers. Aggers is brilliant and, I really never thought I would say this but so is Boycs. Hughes is good, Tuffers has been missed this winter and we could have had more of Victor. The awful Vaughan seemed to replace three or four decent regulars all by himself!

I caught some of the radio commentary this morning. Aren't the ABC Aussie commentators just the worst possible kind? Useless!

I only like Warne, the rest of these Aussie commentators tend to biased and very hyper.

At least they haven't put their feet in it spectacularly like Messers Keys and Gray!

Is sexism as bad as racism these days? I am not sure where we are with what is allowed and what isn't.

The offside decision for the first Liverpool goal was absolutely outstanding. It looked like he was off but was being played on by the right back

The Aussie analyst is currently calling Simon Mann 'David'

I only heard snatches of the TMS commentary today and haven't heard any of the other matches. But I haven't heard the dulcet tones of Michael Vaughan yet. Please tell me he's missing the World Cup.

He is on his way out there I think. Maybe they're rotating him with someone else as it's a longish trip.

Hopefully by the time he gets out there England will be on the way home.
