The Indians not happy with the ICC as they didn't permit Dhoni to have the army insignia (Balidan badge) on his gloves.

Sad, yet somehow unsurprising, if BCCI have formally complained.
An army insignia is a far cry from a global anti-racism movement, and granting an exception for the latter is highly appropriate in these times.

Moeen Ali was banned by the ICC from wearing “Save Gaza” and “Free Palestine” wristbands while the ECB said it was ok.

Yes, I recall that incident. It's a fine line of what is acceptable, or not.
